ABOUT TG
What's the 'Teens Group'? At the Chinese Bible Church of Maryland (CBCM), the Teens Group (TG) comprises the combined youth ministry of middle and high school students.
What goes on at TG? Lots! Students are with those of similar age while being in a setting where they can explore and grow in the Christian faith. Along with biblical teaching, TG provides a space for kids to socialize and engage in 'Cluster' discussions--i.e. small groups via middle and high school groupings, led by volunteer adult counselors.
Throughout the year, teens also have the opportunity to participate in community outreach and service projects, socials, retreats, holiday celebrations, an annual missions trip, and more.
When does TG meet? Consistently, nearly every weekend between the months of September to June. Large group occurs Friday nights. Then Sunday mornings consist of a grade-clustered, Bible book studies (MS boys, MS girls, HS 9 & 10, HS 11 & 12). Afterwards, students are encouraged to attend the English worship service. (See additional service times.)
Who's in charge? Youth Pastor Steve and Assistant Youth Director Dorothy, with invaluable contributions from 9 CBCM volunteers who comprise the counseling staff--ranging from older college students to empty nesters.
How can I get connected? Visit, like, and add us on social media. To subscribe to weekly email updates, contact tg.youth@cbcmgroups.org or complete this form.
